work well 1 people found this helpfulThe gloves work just fine. I have in the past used just ordinary household "rubber" gloves and they also did fine. Now the makers of such gloves have used more vinyl or something slick anyway, so they no longer help with the stockings at all. I did see similar gloves in a plumbing/electrical supply store, but they were more expensive. I'm not sure what the shipping would be on an order just for gloves. So check it out in such stores.
