Overview

About Absolute Support

Absolute Support provides high quality, medical grade compression at value pricing. Made in the USA, all Absolute Support socks are designed with your health and comfort in mind. Identical to high end brands, we take 4-6 compression measurements at precise intervals between the ankle and end of garment. Multiple measurements guarantee our garments are comfortable and deliver an accurate distribution of the pressure gradient.

Apparel Attire

Compression maternity leggings puts enough pressure on the extremities to eliminate the negative effects associated with pregnancy. They are designed to help prevent mild to moderate swelling and relieve fatigue and pain in the legs and feet. Shape your figure and style with maternity no-foot and improve the well-being and appearance of the legs. The biggest difference between your regular leggings and maternity styles: extra-supportive waistbands. Most extend high enough to fit over your growing belly with special panels for an ultra-secure fit. Crafted from a soft spandex-knit blend, maternity compression leggings feature a full maternity gusset for a perfect fit as your tummy grows. These maternity compression leggings may feel tight, but they have a soft, stretchy nylon waistband that won't compress your tummy. Made from breathable, high-performance polyester and spandex mesh, they wick away moisture to keep you cool and comfortable all day long. No matter where you plan to wear your leggings, the best maternity leggings are made from breathable materials with lots of stretch to accommodate your growing tummy. With an elastic band that hugs your tummy comfortably, and the ability to suck and support, maternity leggings are a staple of most pregnant women's wardrobes. You want your maternity leggings to perform just as well as your favorite regular leggings while providing additional benefits for the expectant mother (such as having a thicker compression band and extra back support). Maternity leggings I've found for working out, doing yoga, and even wearing them under clothes or around the house. The cinch supports my belly and doesn't come off like other maternity pants and leggings.

Material

Opaque: The term “opaque stockings” is used to describe hosiery that tends to be non-translucentOpaque stockings are usually about 50 deniers or higher in weight, thus achieving its thick appearance. Opaque stockings can be made from a variety of material, including nylon. Opaque stockings combine outstanding functionality with an especially soft and pleasant feel. Their refined opacity discreetly hides blemishes while effective moisture management and ease of donning support everyday comfort. As you might imagine, a sheer is going to be a bit more breathable than an opaque stocking. An opaque is wonderful for cooler months when you want the extra warmth. An opaque stocking will effectively hide very pronounced varicosities or unwanted sunspots, while the sheer will cover your legs, but still mildly expose your skin.

Fiber Content: 75% Nylon 25% Spandex

Available in Plus Size

At Discount Surgical Stockings, we stand behind size-inclusivity for all categories and we proudly offer a variety of options for every style, shape and budget. Our plus-size compression garments is designed to provide the medical compression support for extra wide sizes. This strong, surgical weight compression socks gives you the graduated compression doctors recommend, especially for lymphedema patients.

Compression: 20-30 mmhg (Firm Support)

If wearing a lower compression doesn’t seem to be minimizing the swelling in your legs enough, higher-grade (or medical-grade) compression may be more effective. Usually, people who suffer from swelling can benefit from 20-30 mmHg socks. These can help them alleviate symptoms of moderate to severe edema and varicose veins. Compression stockings 20-30 mmHg may also help after surgery on the advice of a doctor and reduce the risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) from sitting for too long. They are specially formulated to relieve pain in the legs and calves, venous ulcers, edema and other diseases of the lower extremities. The 20-30 mmHg compression stockings from Discount Surgical Stockings have medical-grade standards and beautiful designs that are designed to fit any aesthetic. These socks can help reduce swelling, relieve leg pain, and prevent venous ulcers. These socks are recommended for people with mild to moderate conditions. The range of 20-30 mmHg compression socks features many styles that can match any wardrobe or personal style.

Are you ever going to get the beige color in again in these compression leggings? I think you would sell more of them if you did. Asked by Sarah
I have been looking for compression 20/30 panty hose Sheer with open toe, do they exist? Asked by Sarah

We have that item available.
SKU: a207
https://www.discountsurgical.com/abso-a207/

i am a hairstylist and stand all day. i am due at the end of July and preparing to have a very hot summer. i want to wear compression stockings while working, but when i got fitted at a pharmacy today they didn't have footless. are these as supportive as the ones i would buy at a pharamacy? my main concern is not getting varicose veins. But will my feet swell more because they only go to the ankle? Asked by Rebecca

We have a Maternity Leggings the model number is A718 it is a 20-30mmHg compression. But is best if you speak to your doctor first to see what he recommends because of the swollen.

Can anyone tell me if these leggings also provide compression in the pelvis? Asked by Katie

There are no compression on the pelvis.

do you use your pre pregnancy weight for sizing? Asked by Kristen

For this item you do use the pre pregnancy weight.

How do these compare to Jobst in terms of "wear and tear"? I machine wash and dry my Jobst's and have toddlers with velcro shoes that catch on them and they've held up very well. Is delicate care is necessary with this kind of legging? Asked by Kristin

Compression wise these will last 2 to 3 months where as the Jobst will last 5 to 6 months.

I have been very pleased with my leggings. They are a challenge to put on and take off, but the benefit of not having aching legs (from varicose & spider veins) is well worth it!

nice option 0 people found this helpful

    Fit

I like these leggings as an alternative option to my full compression hose (I wear full ones on work days at the hospital). These footless leggings look cute under summer dresses (I have always been pregnant through the summer) or other leggings when I want to wear sandals. The seams in front show through really fitted tanks and toward the end of my pregnancy I cut out the elastic band and they continued to fit okay with just the compression material around my "waist".

They fit/feel great once they're on. Takes me about 5 minutes each morning to get them on. I do notice if I walk a lot during the day my feet will swell by the end of the day because they are footless. I am 5'3 and was 103 lbs pre-pregnancy and ordered a M. Glad I did, I don't think I would have been able to squeeze into anything smaller! I've been wearing them since about 20 weeks- I'm now 28 weeks, they still fit great.

Helpful for vein discomfort, but uncomfortable to wear all day. 0 people found this helpful
    Overall

    Fit

I bought these because they were the only footless compression leggings that I could find anywhere. I'm 19 weeks along with my 3rd, and at only 13 weeks I started developing painful varicose veins, something I didn't experience with either of my first two babies. I have to say that once I'm wearing them, they do help the pain/discomfort from the varicose veins, which for me are primarily in my upper legs. However, I think they are very uncomfortable. The sizing chart told me to order an XL (I'm 5'10" and about 160lb), and they just seem way too long. I can't seem to get them on so that the pressure is evenly distributed. In other words, I'll get them on so they're even and comfortable from the knees down, but then there is way too much fabric from the knee up and I end up with the stockings overlapping in areas, or areas where they're bunched so that they're extra tight and then not so tight in others, which makes my legs look lumpy and weird. And no matter what, they always bunch behind my knees. And then there's the issue of the elastic band in the belly. It was SO tight, especially when I would sit down. I read in some of the other reviews that it's adjustable, which it seems like is should be since it's got button holes like the adjustable elastic in little boys' pants. But when I contacted a customer service rep about how to adjust it, I was told that it just "grows with your belly." I just pulled the whole thing out, which made them much more comfortable, but slightly annoying since now they're kind of loose at the top. Hopefully as my belly grows that won't bug me so much. ANYWAY, even with all these issues, I still wear them regularly and I might even buy another pair, just because I can't find any other footless options anywhere else!

Wish they looked more like leggings! 0 people found this helpful
    Overall

    Fit

These leggings really do make your legs feel good and less tired. The only thing I don't like is that the top part of the legging, below the buttox has a line that separates it from the bottom so you have to wear a very long top with it in order for that not to show. You almost can't wear it as a legging. It's more like a stocking. I would be able to wear it more and it would be more beneficial to me if it looked more like a legging.
